Many top professionals will be competing in The Battle at Bayonet. The 8th annual professional event will be held on the Bayonet Golf Course for 54 holes of championship golf. As one of the premier championship courses in California, we look forward to presenting one of the state’s elite professional golf tournaments.
FORMAT:
Individual – The Individual Championship shall be conducted over 54 holes. There will be a cut after 36 holes, based on the number of players who complete round 2. In the event of a tie, the individual champion will be determined by a 3-hole aggregate playoff immediately after the conclusion of play.
ENTRY FEE: $800
– 2 Rounds of golf with a potential 3rd round, cart and range balls.
PURSE:
Projected purse will be $70,000 based on 120 Registered Players
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Practice rounds are available for $69 including cart Monday-Thursday anytime and Friday-Sunday after 2pm from October 1st – October 29th. You must pay your entry fee to receive this rate. Contact the Golf Shop to schedule a practice round at 831-899-7271.
SUNDAY ProAm:
Professionals will be teamed up with 3 Amateurs for a 2 Person Best Ball. Amateurs will have current USGA Index. Professionals will also participate in individual stroke play. Professionals Purse Individual Stroke Play
1st Place – $1,000
2nd Place – $500
3rd Place – $250
SPECTATOR CARTS:
No spectator carts will be available. Caddies are allowed, but are required to walk.
PULL CARTS:
Manual push/pull carts are allowed.
REGISTRATION:
The deadline to register will be Friday, October 27th.
AWARDS:
Individual – The low individual scorer will receive the Battle at Bayonet Trophy and his name will be engraved on the Battle at Bayonet Perpetual Trophy.
TRANSPORTATION:
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Bayonet Black Horse.
DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES:
Distance-Measuring Devices that measure distance only WILL be permitted for use during the Championship.
CONDUCT and ATTIRE:
Golf soft spike policy of Bayonet Black Horse is in effect at the time of the Championship. Proper golf attire is required. Golf shirt must have a collar and either pants or golf shorts are required. All headwear must be worn forward. Any act of unsportsmanlike conduct–including but not limited to: cursing, throwing clubs, damage to the golf course, or other are prohibited. Disqualification with no refund is possible at the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee.
WAITING LIST:
A waiting list will be formed once the field of 140 players is reached. You must register and pay your entry fee to be on the waiting list.
