SUMMARY:Bayonet Amateur Championship
DESCRIPTION:TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: \nOn July 21-23 2025\, many top collegiate and state amateurs will be competing in The Bayonet Black Horse Amateur Championship.  The 10th annual amateur will be held on the Bayonet Golf Course for 54 holes of championship golf. As one of the premier championship courses in California\, we look forward to presenting one of the state’s elite amateur golf tournaments. \nFORMAT:\nIndividual – The Individual Championship shall be conducted over 54 holes. There will be a cut after 36 holes\, based on the number of players who complete round 2. In the event of a tie\, the individual champion will be determined by a 3-hole aggregate playoff immediately after the conclusion of play. \nENTRY FEE: $350\n– 2 Rounds of golf with a potential 3rd round\, cart and range balls.\nTee Prize: Adidas Outwear & TaylorMade TP 5 Balls \nRegister Online \nPRACTICE ROUNDS: \nPractice rounds are available for $69 including cart Monday-Thursday anytime and Friday-Sunday after 2pm from July 1st – July 19th. Practice rounds will be free on Sunday\, July 20th after 12pm. You must pay your entry fee to receive this rate. Contact the Golf Shop to schedule a practice round at 831-899-7271. \nSPECTATOR CARTS: \nNo spectator carts will be available. Caddies are allowed\, but are required to walk. \nPULL CARTS:\nManual push/pull carts are allowed. \nREGISTRATION: \nThe deadline to register will be Friday\, July 18th 2025. \nAWARDS:\nIndividual – The low individual scorer will receive a $1\,000 Gift Card and the Amateur Championship Trophy. Their name will also be engraved on the Amateur Championship Championship Perpetual Trophy. \nTRANSPORTATION: \nParticipants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Bayonet Black Horse. \nDISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES:\nDistance-Measuring Devices that measure distance only WILL be permitted for use during the Championship. \nCONDUCT and ATTIRE: \nGolf soft spike policy of Bayonet Black Horse is in effect at the time of the Championship.  Proper golf attire is required. Golf shirt must have a collar and either pants or golf shorts are required.  All headwear must be worn forward.  Any act of unsportsmanlike conduct–including but not limited to:  cursing\, throwing clubs\, damage to the golf course\, or other are prohibited.  Disqualification with no refund is possible at the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee. \nWAITING LIST: \nA waiting list will be formed once the field of 140 players is reached.
